Putting the mark on a shirt, a sign or a slide? Here are the files, the colour and the few rules that keep it looking like us afterwards.
The mark
The mark is two C's sitting close like two cars in the same lane, with a road running straight through them and out of frame. The C's are true circles of the same size, and the road is not drawn on top — it is cut out, so the mark is a single colour all the way through. That is why it prints, embroiders and embosses equally well, and why you must never put a colour behind the road.
Download the files
The whole kit in one file, or one at a time below. These are the same files we use ourselves.
Using the mark
- Use the files as they are. The mark may be scaled, but not stretched, rotated, recoloured or redrawn.
- The colour is #d65c15. On dark backgrounds use the cream file, not a white one.
- For one-colour print and embroidery, use the black file. Do not add shadow, glow or gradients to the mark.
- Keep clear space around the mark of at least the height of one C.
- The full mark holds down to about 32 px in height. Below that the road closes up and the mark reads as a knot — use the reduced mark between 24 and 32 px, and the app icon below that. Both are in the kit.
- Do not place the mark on a photograph, in a frame, or beside another sender's logo without asking first.
The name
Write Commute Connects as two words for the company and the website. The app is called CommuteConnects as one word in the App Store and on Google Play, because that is how the stores spell it. Both are correct — they just refer to different things.
The colours
Three colours, and no more.
-
Orange
#d65c15The mark. The one colour everything else answers to.
-
Cream
#fdefe8The mark on dark, and text on orange.
-
Night
#110f0dThe background when the mark stands alone.
If you pick your own background, pick either the cream or the night. The orange mark on a mid-grey or another orange disappears.
About Commute Connects
The text below may be used as it stands.
Commute Connects is a Danish app for sharing one car within a small group — a housing association, a couple of neighbours, a family with one car and several adults. The group adds the car, books it in a shared calendar and starts the trip in the app. The odometer is read at the start and the end, and costs are split by the kilometres actually driven, so nobody has to keep a spreadsheet.
The app has been running since 2025 and is built by Kjeldager Drift ApS, CVR 42284076. Commute Connects is for groups who already know each other — not rental between strangers, and not fleet management.
Short version
Commute Connects is a Danish app for sharing one car in a small group — booking in a shared calendar, odometer readings at each end of the trip, and costs split by kilometres driven. Running since 2025.
Swag
The mark was made to be printed. It is one shape, one colour and no fine detail that disappears in embroidery — so it holds up on a shirt, a tote and a sticker without being redrawn.
