How you are charged

2 minUpdated September 5, 2026

Members pay for what they booked, and charging happens once a month. The money goes into the group's own Stripe account — not ours.

What you pay for

Whatever the group has set in its plan: the subscription, and anything beyond the monthly allowance in hours and kilometres. The kilometres come from the odometer readings taken at the start and end of each trip.

When

Once a month, collected for that month's trips.

Where the money goes

Into the group's own Stripe account. The settlement between the group and its members belongs to the group; Commute Connects calculates it and carries out the charge.

Is something wrong on your charge? Start with the group administrator — the group set the prices, and the group owns the Stripe account.
